 Benefits provided for by the state of Alabama

Reduced rate hunting license based off of VA rating.
Reduced rate fishing license based off of VA rating.
Reduced vehicle tag fees based off of VA rating.
Free admission to state parks <where applicable>
Free admission to federal parks <where applicable>
Reduced property taxes (certain eligibility required)
Tuition assistance for college for yourself and dependents *certain eligibility required
Pistol permits are free for one year at time *certain eligibility required

Many of these and other benefits were achieved thanks to Veteran Service Organizations such as ourself (American Legion) and others.
